I am fixating on starting the P90x plan. I've printed the grocery list for my first week's menu (which doesn't even start until January 1st) and made a calendar counting down 90 days from my start date. I decided that milestone pictures, weight and measurements should be taken at 30, 60 and 90 days.
I also am looking at buying a second hand bike for $50. When the weather is nice I can bike on the Whitman Trail and maybe even take my dog, Buddy, along with me.
T minus 10 is the number of days before I start the plan. In the meantime I've gone to the grocery store and bought not healthy food. That's probably not the wisest idea I've ever had, but I did it anyway.

The Countdown begins
Ok, I ordered P90X Saturday night. They have a webpage that helps with your nurition and workouts and also has message boards. I was watching the videos to see if they had any 200 pound women who were in their 40's (or 50's), like me, who did the program and succeeded. There were some, but most of the women found P90X to be too hard to start out and switched to P90. Hmmmm, what have I done? I've sunk myself in this for $40 a month for three months! That's not to mention the monthly fee you pay to get the vitamins and the web page.
So, I've committed to money, now I have to commit to a start date. I won't get the stuf until next weekend so I figure I could start the program on the first. I talked to a co-worker recently who has friends who've done this and lost 68 pounds in two months! They advise that I read the book first as that will help me to know what to modify in my work out and still get results. So, here goes nothing!
